German state Schleswig-Holstein bans Facebook like button and plugin use from its websites

German's state Schleswig-Holstein bans Facebook like button and plugin to be used on its official and government websites and pages due to privacy concerns. What need to be seen is it going to be same with Google Plus button. For the Facebook ruling as per the German state ,
"By using the Facebook service takes a data transfer of traffic and content data in the United States and a qualified feedback to the operator regarding the use of the offer, the so-called range analysis. Anyone who was on Facebook or has used a plugin that has to assume that he is tracked by the company for two years. Facebook is at a comprehensive personal, made by members even a personalized educational profile. These processes violate German and European data protection law".

Facebook in its official statement indicated that its working with German authorities to come to some sort of solution.

The Facebook Like button is such a popular feature because people have complete control over how their information is shared through it.
